Are you sure? it's not a good idea to give birth somewhere where you don't feel safe no matter what anybody with a degree says.

if I have to be induced I won't have a choice. I absolutely hate the hospital. I didn't go on my hospital tour until I was 38.5 weeks and I hated it. Then I find out about the bed bugs. By the time I could talk to anyone about it I was 2 days away from my due date and they told me it was way too late to switch doctors. My only option is to go to the hospital I want to when I go into labor, which was my original plan but my due date has come and gone and I've still made no progress. So if I have to be induced I'll have no choice at all but to go to my original doctor who only delivers at that specific hospital 😞 @miicat I absolutely agree that I shouldn't give birth somewhere I feel completely unsafe going to. But there's nothing I can do. No new doctor will take me.

@emkasting, That sucks can't you talk to the doctors about the bed bugs at least get some kind of stress relief? It's your baby and your pregnancy and you more than anyone has a say.

My daughter went to camp, two days after she came home I got the call the cabin she slept in had bed bugs. We were lucky, she didn't bring any home. We had a bed bug sniffing dog come check. The owner of this dog gave me some tips, because bed bugs are everywhere. 1 don't leave your suitcase on the floor, keep it on a shelf. 2. Bed bugs are attracted to heat, so that is why they bite you in bed, because of your body heat. 3 when you get home wash everything in SUPER HOT WATER. Put hairbrush in the dishwasher & leave your suitcase outside a few days before you bring it back inside.
