Can someone tell me how a scheduled C-section is processed?? like what should I expect when I go because they want me there 2 hours before?...Also, do they put you in the room you will be staying in throughout the stay after the surgery??? AND....How many hours am I suppose to be fasting?? questions questions questions due to anxiety..sorry mommas

They get you there early so you can sign in. Then you will be put into a room that they will prep you in. They will shave you if you need it around the incision sight. They will monitor you and the baby for about an hour or so to make sure everything is okay. Your doctor will come talk to you and see how you are doing etc. I was allowed to have 3 people with me until I was taken back then it was only my husband. The put you in a recovery room afterwards for about 2 hours with a nurse. My husband was the only one allowed to go back there with me and once my son was checked over and had his bath he was allowed to bring him in there to see me for a little bit. Then they will move you to a room that you will stay in for the rest of your time there. Sorry that was long! Lol that is how mine went at least. Hope this helped. Also I wasn't allowed to eat for 12 hours before.
They want you there early because of all the paper work you have to fill out and meet everyone that's going to be helping with the c section..
mine wasnt scheduled but theyre probably wanting u 2 hours before to get you prepared with ivs n stuff n i believe youre supposed to fast for at least 6 hours

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
