@kamilasmama, i hear ya there im prayn that we both have between a 6-7lb healthy little one lol i was a 5 pounder my moms smallest baby and my husband was his moms smallest also im prayn hard lmbo lol
i been having sonos done twices a wk from 36wks... and baby is gaining 7oz every 2wks.. and on average babies gain half a lb per wk.. so for some reason that we cannot see via US he isn't gaining enough per wk.. I'm just hoping the tech is doing some thing wrong and baby is at least 6lbs..
@mommybug, No problem. I font think they're that accurate either. My daughter was living proof. I would think he would let him cook longer to see if he gains at all. That's why we weren't induced until 42wks 2days
I was a 10 lb baby 😂 my mom thinks this baby will be big just like me sooo I'm just praying it's not going to be something like that. @windingsmama4
@ceeasquared my baby is currently measuring small and that makes me nervous.. I'm being induced at 40wks bc my dr is concerned that he isn't gaining weigh as he should.. i just think US weigh in are inaccurate.. so thanks.. i feel better now .. maybe he'll be bigger than 5lbs!
all my babys so far have ranged between 6-7lbs and none of them ever measured different than they were supposed to on the 27th of last month they said she was averaging 3lbs 10oz im hoping shes stays in the 6-7lb range my moms 4th baby was 10lbs and i dont think id handle that to well lol @ceeasquared
At the same time though I don't really trust the ultrasound growth scans that much. With my daughter up until she was born and with my whole pregnancy they told me she was underweight and I wasn't gaining enough and when they induced me at 42 wks, up until I pushed her out they said to me that we would be lucky if she was even 5 lbs....she was 8lbs 10 oz 21 1/2 inches @kamilasmama @windingsmama4
I think it is what Kelsey said about the baby just being bigger. My baby was 4lb 10oz. At my ultrasound on Tuesday so I was 31 weeks and some days now And the baby was measuring at 32 weeks. I'm now 32 weeks since yesterday so idk haha my first thought was could mean baby is bigger than normal. I forgot to ask the doctor because usually I don't come up with the questions until I leave the office or days later. But yeah I think it is just that the baby is measuring bigger than normal. @ceeasquared @windingsmama4 & just like ceeasquared I tracked my period and stuff so my dates can't be off.
im in similar situation with our little one we went for a growth u/s the 27th of last month bc when my dr measured my stomach she said me and baby were measuring smaller than she would like us to since i keep losing weight and on the ultrasound baby's head was measuring 32wks and rest of baby was measuring 31wks and 5days and i was only 30wks i have a dr.s appt on tuesday and im definitely going to ask her about it
I measuring 2 weeks ahead but I know my lmp date is accurate because I used to track my period religiously. According to my lmp I'm 19 wks 4 days. According to my ultrasound baby is measuring at almost 22 wks.
yea I agree. nothing to worry about. everything is an estimate anyway
I'm not sure hun lol I was told by my doctor though it sometimes mean baby is coming a lil earlier than expected. Its not much to worry bout though. @kamilasmama
Oh so it's not because they're bigger than normal? @alexusasia420 @sexii_diiva
doesn't mean that they will come early or later, just means its a big baby. most baby's measure a week or two ahead, but that's just weight and length not their actual development inside.
yea.. your due date is probably earlier
Sometimes it can mean that they may come early.
my first measured two weeks ahead from 20 weeks and on until my due date, and he came out weighing 6lbs. their ultrasound machines are just estimated guesses.
