Just finished reading about pregnancy weight gain. Seen this.
7 1/2 pounds is about how much the baby will weigh by the end of pregnancy.
1 1/2 pounds is how much the placenta weighs.
4 pounds is attributed to increased fluid volume.
2 pounds is the weight of the uterus.
2 pounds is the weight of breast tissue.
4 pounds is because of increased blood volume.
7 pounds is attributed to maternal stores of fat, protein and other nutrients.
2 pounds for the amniotic fluid.
(Total: 30 pounds)
On a trimester basis in a woman with a normal pre-pregnancy weight:
First trimester: 1-4.5 pounds
Second trimester: 1-2 pounds per week
Third trimester: 1-2 pounds per week

as long as your doctor isn't worried , it shouldn't matter
honestly I know woman who look like they never had kids. they're skinny as hell and they gained 50 lbs thru out their pregnancy! I've gained 40 but everyone says that they can't even tell. tbh I can't either really. don't worry about the weight unless your dr starts to worry. there's enough shit to be stressed about during pregnancy and the number on your scale should not be one of them
39wks ans gained 20lbs.. not to bad 👀
25 weeks today and I have gained 13lbs although none was in the first trimester. I hope to gain 1lb each week from now on
now times all that bull shit times 2 plus I was already plus size before the babies now I'm just fat I hate it but I'm still cute tho 😵😵😵😉

I didn't like gaining the weight , but it was for my little which I thought she would of came out bigger but I was wrong but 19 lbs isn't bad

Before my pregnancy I was 188... Just got weighed and I'm at 168(due to hyperemesis in my first trimester I lost about 25 pounds)....anyhow, about how much weight is lost directly after giving birth? Do you literally loose however much the baby weighs? How does that work?

So my weight is 140lbs. My pre pregnancy weight was 135. I lost 3 pounds due to not eating a lot for 2 weeks during pregnancy! So I've gained 7 pounds. And I'm only 5 pounds up from where I started at 21 weeks!
