I'm getting really sad that everyone is having their babies and my daughter is being so stubborn 😓 I just want her here already, it's an emotional night
If he really wants to stay in another 2 weeks then I'll have to deal but I'm really really hoping he is out in the next week. I really don't want to be induced. I will do anything not to be induced
@emkasting, that's what mine told me too! 😳 at this point I don't even want to make it to 38 weeks which is only 4 days away. I can not imagine going to 41-42 weeks!!
I have a midwife too so I know the struggle. She told me she won't even mention induction until I'm 41.5 weeks
I feel you 1000% but I've been telling you that haha! Due date is tomorrow and nothing is happening. Ugh
its definitly tough and honestly if it was last night I'd be crying with you @jnmich!! but I just really sat down and convinced myself today that he'll come when hes ready and this is one of a million sacrifices I have to make as his momma. hopefully your little one makes life a little easier for you!!!
@aubrey725, bless your heart 😦 that sounds awful! I'm only 50% and 1 cm with no cervical change in the past week. I wish my dr would just realize I'm miserable and induce, but I've also heard inducing can make the labor harder. I hope your baby comes soon!! I thought mine was stubborn😳
I feel you @jnmich!!! I've been 3cm and 70% for a month. today I'm 39+5 and they wouldn't even talk about induction. the end is the absolute hardest part!!! what I keep telling myself is that at least it'll be over for.sure by 42 weeks and it'll all be worth it!!!!
@lilybug, same here! I really thought it was time because I started leaking fluid but it turned out to be just discharge, ugh
@aubrey725, thank you! my doctor is really surprised that I haven't had her yet. I've been having contractions 2-3 minutes apart for 10 days. She won't stop them because she said if my body is ready then it is but she also won't induce me because she's a midwife and she wants to stick with natural methods.
@emkasting, I'm hoping I have mine naturally too. Pitocin makes contractions hit really fast and strong, almost like one after the other. you really don't get a break and then you're exhausted by the time you're ready to push
