The Dr called this morning and said they want to have me back in in 4 weeks to get better shots of my baby boy because they didn't get good ones of the ones they wanted. Is this a normal thing that usually happens? My baby boy is measuring ahead for his age and they got some great shots of the typical things. I just can't help but to assume the worst and think there's something they're not telling me and they're using this as an excuse to see him again to see how something develops....

nah it's normal. you just had your anatomy scan. I did too and my munchkin wasn't cooperating so I have to go back. they would tell you if something was wrong.

@paytonmarie23, yep! The 20 week scan. Which was more like 21 weeks by the time they got it scheduled, and he was measuring 21 weeks & 5 days lol.

I wouldn't be to worried, when they did mine they told me if the doctor doesn't like the pictures they'll have you come back & redo the sonogram. The doctor is just really picky about those from what the lady told me about mine. she almost forgot a profile & she said if she did he would send me back to do it all over again. @supermommyx21

When I had mine done my doctor told me not to be concerned if they called for another appointment. She said sometimes they just don't get clear images on certain things like the kidneys and the heart like they would like.
