I feel hungry all the time. It's really annoying. I'll be entering my second trimester in a week and I'm just scared to gain too much weight in this pregnancy. Anybody else going through this? What do y'all eat to minimize the excess weight gain?
I talked to my doctor about this today. Before my first pregnancy I was 125 then by the time I went into labor I was 181 got down to 146 and didn't pay attention after that so I ended up gaining a few pounds and found out I was pregnant again I'm only halfway through and I'm 178! in freaking out but my doc said to eat smaller more frequent meals and to split my meals in half eat one half and a few hours later eat the other cause my body will burn the calories off quick. Drink lots of water! Its nasty and I struggled at first I could badly drink 4 cups a day now all I drink is water and have a cup of juice or tea every 4 days or so I don't purposely do that its just I crave juice or tea every 4 days I don't drink sodas its very very rare I do and if I do its fruity or sprite something without caffeine. Stay active you don't have to go to the gym or make up a workout routine simple walking works wonders and I walk a lot since I don't have a car. it's okay to indulge in junk or a craving I do but I don't overdo it. I don't really like ice cream this pregnancy so I stick to Popsicles and water ice and have ice cream every now and then. Naturally when I get pregnant I hate junk and eat healthy junk taste nasty so its not hard for me but whether you eat healthy or not you gain weight. You'll do fine and be fine don't worry you'll lose it and if you decide to breastfeed that helps as well but if you don't you'll still lose what you gain I'm here if you ever need encouragement or to vent or just talk 😊
