My doctor tried telling me that when they induce me it will take like two days until I actually have her. Is this true? I'm 1 cm dilated.. And she's starting with cervidil then pitocin.
I went from 1-9 1/2 cm and pushing within 4 hours after getting an epidural but that was 24 hours after my water broke
I went on a Sunday at 2pm was only dilated to 1cm and wasn't very thinned out so about 4pm they gave me cervidil, and I want to say around 5/6am the next morning they took cervidil out and by 11:37am I had my daughter.
@jennawygant I was induced weds. At 9:45 pm and was in labor almost 18 hours with no progress. After the fact I was told it takes way longer when you get induced and it's harder on you and the baby.
no. I was induced with all 3 of my kids and had them between 5-7 hours after the pitocin started
no I was induced at 9pm on the 18th with started with cervadil then they started Patocin around 4am and I had my baby boy at 1103 on the 19th
I got induced Dec 20th at 4pm and didn't have my baby till Dec 21st at 3:12pm
My friend was induced at 10pm one night and had him the next next. Depends on your body
Also 24 hours of Pitocin so it could go really fast
