depends on your doctor's preferences really and yours lol. they say not to eat too much shellfish because the iodine can cause early labor. they say imitation crab is bad for you because it contains shark meat and other salt water fish high in mercury content. I ate it almost every week during my pregnancy with my daughter and she is perfectly fine. but everyone is different. so talk to your doctor and see what they say first and then decide for yourself if you really wanna go without it. lol I craved all kinds of seafood and sushi when I was pregnant with my daughter.
