as labor gets closer, I am freaking out lol

I'm pretty sure you can, but they will probably try to talk you out of wanting to be asleep so you can see your baby once he/she is here 💜

lol as much as I would love to see her the moment she is out, I can't imagine being awake for that, I know that probably sounds horrible but I am such a pansy @angelmommy24

I believe in some places you can be put to sleep if you're having a csection. The epidural isn't that scary. I HATE needles but they have you arch your back so they can get it in place and you only feel a slight pinching of it going in and then you get warm and tingly.

lol I don't want the epidural, it's my goal to stay away from it, I have to move in pain so I can't imagine laying there numb, hopefully I can do it naturally. as previously stated I am such a pansy when it comes to needles entering my body lol @themommaoffour

@foreverjalisa, I would honestly suggest getting the epidural because you don't even feel it and then you can still see your baby. plus there is a curtain so you don't even see what's happening down there. I'm terrified of getting a c section but you'll be so numb from an epidural it wouldn't even matter.

lol but I don't want the epidural but I'll discuss my options with my ob, I am so hard headed and stubborn, if I have my mind set it won't change

@foreverjalisa, they put an iv in for fluids while in labor. I went completely pain meds free until 25 minutes before my third was born. I got a very low dose of iv meds so I could get up and go pee. it only took the edge off of my back pain. it was amazing to go with no epidural. I plan to go as natural as possible this time too. If you don't need a csection the only needle they'll need is the iv which is the most annoying part
