any of you other mommies having your tubes tied after delivery or have already had it done? What was it like? my doctor hasn't talked to me about it yet. I've never had surgery before. I'm nervous I'm going to regret my decision but my husband has 3 daughters and now 2 boys with me. I come from a big family but I know we just can't afford any more children. he is also getting snipped after the birth of our second son.

I am!! If it was guaranteed that I'd have a girl next I'd consider trying again but it's not, and we can always adopt. I still need to talk to my doctor and add it to my birth plan but my mind is made up.

Make sure you sign the agreement at least 30 days before you plan to give birth or they can't do it. That's what my doctor said for MN

Me, too. But honestly, I can't wait to have an empty house again and eventually some more freedom. There are a lot of things I still want to achieve and two kids is plenty. I was adopted and plan to adopt if I ever want more kids. It's totally up to you and your life plans so don't do it if you think there is even a chance you'll regret it.
