Well, if he won't buy them a kennel, look on Craigslist - a lot of times people give them away in the free section. Or, you could put them in one room and close the door when you leave.

@sarahemccormick, he doesn't like kenneling them because he things it's gonna cause aggressive behavior. I wish I could chain them up outside but the business behind us call the police because they're pit bulls and these two take there aggression out on inanimate objects. like the fence it garden hose. we've already had 3 complaints and they said next time animal control will take them. 😤 I keep thinking I need to find a dog sitter so they don't get into anything

I have a pit and she had a kennel, and she is sweet as pie. Not aggressive whatsoever.

I'm sorry you're going through all that though, I know the struggle with people accepting them, that's for sure. It was always hard to find a house that a landlord or realtor would rent to us with her, because of her breed.

@sarahemccormick, they're great dogs. our oldest was a rescue from ring fighting. We worked through all his aggression when we got him and he has been great ever since. But he gets territorial and doesn't like other dogs except our 10 month old puppy which is his son by an accidental pregnancy from a rescued female that was overbred. People only see the negative in the breed and don't want to learn the truth about them. I've seen cats and smaller dogs more aggressive then most pit bulls I know

I completely understand, I love our dogs but the boxer makes everyday hell for me. There's not a second in the day that he's quiet. He barks at everything. Poops in my daughters room even if I had just let him out. He gets into everything, tears the trash through the house, then pukes it up, IDK what I'm going to do about him when the baby gets here, I can't have him constantly barking and waking the baby up. Now my other dog on the other hand is a bully, the only thing that bothers me about him is he's a drooler so our couches are covered in drool stains from his mouth brushing against them and he sound like a damn dying horse when he barks, it's sort of obnoxious. So I sort of understand the struggle lol.

We have 2 pits and crates don't make them aggressive. We only crate one when we leave because our oldest is so good but the young one would eat everything in sight of we left him out.

crating them will not make them aggressive.

@momofthree85, with our oldest he does get more aggressive due to his past. our 10 month old pit just gets mad at the crate.

the puppy would adjust . it just takes a routine. my dog did not like it for a while and I dealt with her barking through the night in it but she eventually knew what going to bed meant and she stopped barking. I can understand about the older one and that wouldn't work.
