I had my daughter about a week ago , is it normal for the umbilical cord to smell horrible?? 😷😷😷

Never could smell my sons.

My ped told us if it smelled it could mean a sign of infection. My LO never smelled. As long as there is no puss or anything you should be fine!😊

I can't wait for it to fall off @ashsloan its horrible today lol

Yeah they smell terrible until they fall off
