Right now I'm going back and forth. I try to keep him on my breast for 10-15 minutes but he's having a hard time figuring out how to latch for longer than that so I'm supplementing with formula so he gets the hang of it.
@ab, I'm the awkward one. But he has a tendency to lick the colostrum off me. LMAO So we're trying to break him of that. A bottle does help. He seems to prefer me to the bottle and I have a feeling when the milk is flowing he'll go breastfeeding pro status. He will grimace every time the formula hits his mouth. He's not a fan of the flavor for sure.
@4xmeislove, You know I honestly thought I'd hate breastfeeding but even when it's painful it doesn't bother me at all. I wish I didn't feel so awkward. Part of the problem is I don't know what the heck I'm doing. lmao
oh okay thats good then :) I'm trying to get my supply up lol kiely did much better at latching then her brothers! so its good this time just need more milk to keep up and stay away from formula i hate using it and my kids seem to hate it too haha
That was my issues my nipples are flat and don't seem to harden up I always had to use the shield and pump before but it got way too stressful for me because he just wouldn't latch on so I am pumping just keep at it don't let it stress you out practice makes perfect! He will get the hang of it and if he doesn't that's okay as long as he healthy baby that's all that matters 💙 be proud of yourself your even trying hon! Trust me I been to 3 lactation nurses went nights and days crying breastfeeding is such a challenge! But it's worth it! My last 2 children were formula fed This is my last baby I am really pushing myself this time to keep at it
@4xmeislove, @ab the lactation nurses have been latching him he just can't figure out his tongue. My nipples are a little flat. I've been using shields. Since I've been supplementing his latch is getting stronger. He definitely prefers the colostrum to formula.
just be careful with formula bottles because they can get confused then attached to bottles the more they have them.
I supplement try asking the nurse to speak to a lactation nurse they are amazing and make you feel so good the first week the hardest keep at it your doing an amazing job! And giving him what's most important right now!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Your milk will come in and sweeten up and he will love it!
