it really is I hated it but you can always call you Dr and speak with a nurse and see if the Dr will it you a prescription for it or make a appointment to discuss it with your Dr

it could take you less time but they can give you a hormone pill that can balance your period out so you don't bleed 2xs a month

Yeah my Dr said that its common to have 2 periods a month when you start the mirena it took my body 4 months to get use to it after that it was smooth sailing

@kelseys, I'm experiencing the bleeding and spotting. I think I'm having my SECOND period this month ALREADY!!! It's becoming annoying.

I never had a period after I had my daughter and it was placed in right after my c section after it was removed I did bleed heavy for a week and a half tho

@wyatts_mommy_0106, okay the two periods is what I'm experiencing right now. That's why I wanted to ask. I literally just got off two days ago and today I'm cramping and everything ALL over again. I'm not feeling it at all

horrible! I had it put in 6months pp. and it literally felt like labor all over again from how strong the cramps were. I'm usually a really light bleeder, and never have cramping but when I got it, I bled so much and the cramps were so bad I could feel them in my thighs, and my stomach. my doctor told me it was just my body getting used to it but it still kept happening. it also made me gain a lot of weight! I got it taken out after 6months of having it and haven't had a problem since.

Had mines for 3 years strings some how got lost inside had to have it removed through a providers where they removed it by filling up my uterus with saline water had it removed in January was pregnant the following November

I love mine in the beginning I had a few problems like the strings was too long so my SO kept hitting them and I would have 2 periods a month but once NY body got use to it my periods regulated and my Dr cut the strings back now I have no problems with it
