doctors appointment today and I haven't been seen in three weeks. hoping they check me because I've been having a lot of pain and pressure. I was told they won't check til I'm 40 weeks but can I ask them to? I feel like it's the least they can do when they canceled my appointment on me last week.

As far along as you are, your dr apt should be once every week. I started getting checked at 37 weeks. And found out at 38 I was 1 cm dilated

they called me last week and left a message rescheduling my appointment for a week later so I haven't been seen since 35 weeks. I called them back and explained that to them and they said there was nothing they could do. I was pissed and I am still pissed. I'm really contemplating bitching the doctor out especially since I've lost two pregnancies before and getting so close to the end here anything could be wrong. she said she won't check me til 40 weeks but I want to be checked today I wold like to know what's going on in my body and I feel like it's the least she could do. @sarahmariemommy2be

@germanayy, sounds to me like you need a new ob gyn. Thats ridiculous!!! Everytime I go in now the nurse asks me "So would you like to be checked today" and of course my answer is always yes lol! But they should be offering that to you.. And not be rescheduling you like that.

I was going to switch at 34 weeks but it was hard to find someone who would take me that late and the doctors I see are the doctors from the hospital I'll be delivering at. so frustrating! she measured me at my 34 week appointment and said I was measuring 29 weeks and didn't show any concern so I said something and she sent me for a nst when I really think she should have sent me for a growth scan. and then at my 35 week appointment she didn't even measure my belly! I think because I made such a fuss about measuring 5 weeks behind the week before. I'm just gonna have to demand what I want and hopefully make it through the next couple weeks @sarahmariemommy2be

That's so strange! I would definitely ask and also maybe see if another doctor can see you (if there are any others in that group for example )

@mommagotbump16, definitely hope she won't be delivering my baby and im definitely asking for a different doctor for my next appointment
