Anybody not lactate at all until after they gave birth? May sound silly but I have 2 weeks left and…

I was able to squeeze one drop out once... but no, I didn't leak really before birth. now I'm 1 week and 1 day after giving birth and I'm getting 2+ ounces on either side every to me I pump, because my son is in NICU. don't worry, not leaking doesn't mean anything.

I didnt leak till after my milk fully came in. I could squeeze some out as well but that was it

@zebsmomma15 I just want to be able to breastfeed but I feel no change in my boobs. so I'm hoping my body just know what to do

@hailholla1412, I didn't have any milk before baby came and I've been EBF for 3 months.. Your body knows what to do!

@hailholla1412, you are welcome!!! At the time I was worried too bc some girls said they leaked while pregnant but I didn't at all.. Right after my baby was born colostrum started coming out and 3-4 days later my milk came in! The human body is amazing!

your milk doesn't come in until 3-5 days after you deliver. you have nothing to worry about! some woman leak colostrum before baby comes but either way it's not an indication of milk supply.

@snb1121 @suddymaya okay but how do you feed baby right away when they come out if it takes a few days?

colostrum (the yellow thick milk) is what the baby will get before your actual milk comes in. the babies stomach is so small that you will feed often
