what to pack in my hospital bag for baby and i? we will both most likely be there for about a week…

shower items from home, your own pillow and blankie, comfy loose clothing for mama, some hats, mittens, onsies, socks, blankies for baby, a paci if you're a mama who uses them, changing diaper necessities, ( baby powder, destin/ vaseline) maybe your own diapers if you want. cell phone charger, your own towel!!!! maybe a robe, some snacks, and a boppy . ohh and don't forget a carrier and the base <3 hope this helps. any Mommy's did I forget anything ?

This is what I'm packing for me, but for baby I have a couple swaddling blankets, coming home outfit in two different sizes (only cause he's already 8 lbs) hats, socks, no scratch mittens, diapers in 2 sizes, wipes, diaper cream and all purpose ointment for circumcision, soothies pacifiers

Are you planning a vaginal birth or Csection? I was high risk but could go home after the first 24 hours with a normal vaginal delivery (I controlled my blood sugar the whole time on my own with the pump though, not sure if that matters?). If you stay longer you can choose to continue to wear the hospital gown, but I chose not to wear it all this delivery and spent most of the time in skirts/sweats and a sports bra with a sweater (I did have two uneventful days of induction before I delivered, so ended up there longer than I expected)
