Cervidil is like a tampon that ripens you. I had it twice cause the first didn't dilate me any. Then they gave me cytotec. A dissolving pill they put by your cervix. I hated the cytotec!

its a tiny pill that dissolves as your cervix thins i had it done 2 times and never had a string
