Anyone else's ten month old not want to drink formula as much as before. My son wants table food…

my daughter was like that at 10 to 11 months...she was eating a well balanced diet so I stopped formula in the day and only gave it to her at bedtime. she just wouldn't take it and loved to eat real food. she got milk with her meal and water inbetween. at 1yr we stopped formula and she no longer wanted her bottle at night lol.

@eskawho, he just started not really wanting as soon as he was going to hit 10 months. I try to give him fruit and vegetables with his food. he will take only a little bit of formula at night its so weird. he eats all the time time prefers our food .

that was the same with me...I tried to give her formula before her meals and she would drink a little and kept pushing it away...but would eat good with her meals.

@eskawho, he's definitely better when eating his meals. he won't take his bottle will drink some then push it away and turn his head. he does drink more formula at night but he doesn't finish all the way.

I think as long as he's eating a good balanced diet that it's fine but you can always ask his pediatrician if your not sure. I just couldn't force my daughter to take formula and she was and is gaining weight nicely.

sometimes they just tell us when they are ready...I'm a ftm and was so worried about ending formula during the day and making sure she was getting enough fluids but she loves water so that was easy lol. I also think it made weaning her bottle at a year a lot easier

@eskawho, I always give my son water never anything else during the day. I'm going take his bottle away at 1 also that's my goal.I was just worried but I guess it is normal.

I did one at a time, I did morning then took away the afternoon but your son could be on a different schedule so try and v see what works. 😊

I think so because he doesn't take any bottles after 6am he's not having it so I give him all table foods till around bedtime and again at 3am he wakes up .
