my father in law again is being a dick about our baby's name. "what, are you naming him sylas after the that kid in the show weeds? that kid is a knuckle head and your baby will be too then." yep he can offically screw off. who says that about an unborn baby? and no I'm not naming my child after the show weeds. I'm naming him sylas because I feel that is his name and if he comes out and I don't feel like that it's still his name then we will go from there... Idc that we are "breaking 6 generations of the name tom" it was my husband who didn't want to name our baby after him. sorry for the rant. I'm just upset.

Sometimes our parents forget that it's OUR baby, not there's. When I first told my MIL we had decided on the name Roman for our son she spent the next month (at least) texting me alternative names. I kept telling her, "no, we're all set with Roman"
@lun2016, @twinmama_navywife thank you! yeah its rediculous. he can be such a nice person but when stuff is not exactly his way he losses it. our baby will not be around someone that is going to continue to say mean things like that.
My parents are married and I named my one son Liam Peter after my father, my husbands dad is Fredrick Allen, deceased dad Dean, and the guy that helped raise him is Aaron. Our second son is Seamus Aaron. My FIL is super butt hurt.
That's ridiculous, Sylas is a beautiful name...a name has nothing to do with how your child acts, smh
@amarsig23, I agree! it's hard to here a judgment like that. I feel bad for my husband because if my mom ever said anything like that I know I would be heartbroken and even more upset than I am now.
