Repost: My son has this rash looking bump on his head. Sometimes it's redder than other times. What can it be? (The one on the right is bigger but the camera wouldn't focus so well on it)

You don't need to take him in for cradle cap. It's from hormones. It's completely normal. Just leave it alone but, if you want to do something, you can use coconut oil on it.

my son had the same thing ... it started off as red bumps like rash then from there it turned into cradle cap.. which is a fusgus

It will start to turn scale-like (it's kinda like dandruff) and some of his hair may fall out. Again, totally normal. My daughter had it for about a month.
