What should I do. Brooklyn is now a week old and my 7 year old son has a wet cough and a low grade fever. Should I call the doctor and get him an appointment. I gave him some Tylenol hoping that will take his fever down. If I do get him an appointment my husband doesn't want the baby in the car with him because he sick. This is my husband's first baby he's super paranoid about everything. I just don't know how hard it's going to be if I do have to take him to the doctor and get someone to watch her.

either way maybe after work? urgent care? i do not recommend taking 1 week old to a filthy doctors office!!!! besides, what r they gonna tell u? take tylenol if theres fever? watch him overnight if more syptoms arise ask ur hub to take him next morn. what u gonna do

@kamangano, Vicks in his feet and socks and fluids fluids. I doubt going to dr will do anything.
