We have finally transitioned to cloth diapers...bye bye disposables!

where did you find them at?

How do you manage the poop? Do you have a lot of cloth diapers to last throughout the day or do you wash daily? Sorry, just trying to understand the cloth diapers a bit better.

@jesjeslovesyou, I just started building a stash. we have 5 diapers but like 10-15 inserts. when you change the diaper the insert is what soaks up the urine so the cover that you see can be used again by just added a new clean insert. right now i will be washing every night till the rest come in the mail. as far as poop...I dump what I can...spray awesome and pre-wash on my hands and then toss in the washer. I ordered a pressure sprayer that attaches to ur toilet and when you flush the water goes through the sprayer to clean the poop off into the toilet.

I definitely need those and how do they work?

Ooohhhh that's so interesting!! You know what, I know that it's supposed to be healthier for baby. I think I just may do both. Why did you choose to switch over? Was your little one allergic to regular diapers?

@jesjeslovesyou, my husband and I decided because its cost effective. $200 - $300 worth of cloth diapers and supplies till he's potty trained is better then $2000 lol...We knew we were gonna get diapers at the shower and we decided that those would be the only disposables we would use. My husband and his exwife used cloth...so much so that she now has a business sewing them. They schooled me...and not to mention there are soooo many cute designs. With cloth he isn't exposed to the harsh chemicals in disposables either. This pic might help you in regards to how many are needed and washing...

@mommyofroyalprincessdeila, download the mama app and type in alva cloth diapers and you want bamboo and microfiber inserts. you need twice as many inserts....this is a snippet of how it works

@mommyofroyalprincessdeila @jesjeslovesyou this is a good starter kit. it even comes with diaper liners that catch the poop and you flush it down the toilet...its kinda like a dry baby wipe...those that dont care to clean poop off the diapers use them
