have you tried cabbage? plz don't say the ladies who dried up are lucky. I dried up and that was with active pumping a month later my son ended up really sick and the er Dr was like "are you breastfeeding?" I said "no I got put on antibiotics and it dried up overnight literally" and he shook his head and said "if you would've kept breastfeeding he wouldn't have gotten this sick. he got rsv at 3 months old, I ended up with a kidney infection at 2 months postpartum

oh no I'm sorry to offend I mean the ones that wanted to dry up! I'm sorry to offend. believe me I was absolutely heartbroken I couldn't breastfeed my daughter. she has a lip tie and insurance doesn't cover a revision. her latch couldn't be corrected and after trying everything I had to end up not breast feeding because she lost too much weight she almost wound up in the hospital. I wish I could have breast fed. I truly didn't mean to offend you. I haven't tried the cabbage because per my OB if I tried to dry up now, it was a high possibility I wouldn't produce when my son gets here due to my PCOS. so I have to deal with being engorged for 22 more weeks. I couldn't pump because I literally had no pump response either. and can't pump now because it could send me into preterm labor. @kiml7613 I am sorry I offended you.

Hey, what is lip tie? How do you know they have it?

the frenulum (what connects your lip to your gums) is very low and fully attached. it restricts from being able to flip her upper lip properly to latch. most people have had one and usually a fall or a bump a little to hard to the mouth when they are children will break it and release the tie. others need a revision where it's snipped ahead of time to correct the problem. it can cause speech problems and gapped front teeth. @adamsbaby2016
