Anyone else working in the third trimester? If so how is it ? & up until when do you plan on working ?
I'm 29 almost 30 weeks working on my feet all day for 12 hour+ shifts then come home and go straight to bed because I feel crampy and have back pain. I'm trying to decide when's a good time to take off...I want to work as long as possible but don't want to put baby in jeopardy.
Hahah oh yeah definitely hard work. I was a preschool teacher. @klove23
@savannamarie, yeah im anticipating the back pain because sitting up all day is killer but definitely not as exhausting as working with children (I tried being a teachers assistant for special needs children & i didn't last long lol)
I worked at a daycare @klove23 and stood all day N chased kids so I think u can make it with desk job. ur back will probably hurt N that's it I think
@klove23, yes my doctor put me I leave for about a two months I was having bleeding and really bad back pain I went back at 8 months then left a month later
@tmross, didnt even think about the amont of bathroom break im going to have to take 😩 lol
It's tough, I only work a couple hours, but getting up to go to the bathroom alot is the hardest part. I work early morning (6am-noon)
@tmross, do you find it easy? I'll be working a desk job also
I'm 36 weeks and plan to work right up until she is born. I have a morning desk job at a school.
@latamalera, yikes im glad i didn't get the job (i applied to work there) lol
So you stopped and then went back ? @reaganmommy2015 I think i stopped around 2 or 3 just because but now we need the money so decided to work again
I worked until I was 35 weeks. I work at Starbucks so my feet were killing me! The swelling still hasn't gone down
With my first and second I worked up into 36 weeks but I had issues with them both at about 5 months along and I was on leave for a little
@savannamarie, yeah i plan on working until im due as well and thankfully its a desk job so i wont be on my feet ! lets hope i make it lol
My feet hurt and swell that's why I ended it then other wise I was gonna work all the way up to my due date @klove23
@missliss, yeah i expect that much lol I'm just nervouse i suppose & @savannamarie obviously it was bearable but did you struggle with anything in particular with working for so long ?
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
We are having a debate at work....
Should you pick up hitchhikers?
How many of you ladies work??
@mommymoo, yeah my dilemma.. dont wanna put baby at risk but kinda need to work lol my shifts will be 10 hrs but at a desk thankfully.. i figure ill just go with the flow if im able to i will but it im not i wont force it
