Heard ma wee babas heartbeat today, is it just a myth about gender and heartbeat??

I said to the midwife can that be true but guessing the speed of the heart beat and gender and she said its alot of rubbish xxzz

The midwife told me my LOs heart beat sounded like a boy but I'm having a girl xxx

Both my babies had the same sound and speed and I've got my boy and this ones a girl so wasn't accurate for me xx
