Okay serious question, so I'm getting induced this Friday and my best friend lives two states away so unfortunately she's going to miss it! Do they allow you to FaceTime or is there a policy that doesn't allow it?

oh OK that's cool. I don't know about that they let me and my fiancée be on our phone and taking pics I'm sure they'd be fine with it. but it probably depends on the hospital, your midwife/ doctor, and you will probably want someone to hold it for you when it comes time for the pushing part.

face time? what do you mean by that. if your over 41 weeks they won't let you go any longer because it is a danger to the baby.

you will have to talk to your doctor. I know my midwife said that it was fine. They almost always allow it if your husband is deployed... not sure about your situation though
