I haven't heard of numbing cream, but my lactation consultant told me organic, virgin coconut oil is best for dry nips.

I've been told to only use lanolin! So, I'm not sure what creams to use. I've never heard of numbing creams, either.

i could be wrong, but with 3 kids I've never heard of numbing cream for nipples. If they had it i don't think so many moms would struggle with sore nipples. There is nipple butter and lanolin that helps soothe the nipples
