So for the glucose test.. My appointment is Thursday at 9:30am... Do I not eat or drink anything??? Doctor never really explained 😩

I was told not to fast and I also ate right before I went and passed
I passed. And I just eat everything lol I had an orange juice right before my test smh. No body told me not to eat lol. I'm a hot mess.

ur not supposed to eat. but if its a few hrs before the exam u can eat something light. it does change your results though so be careful.

My midwife said I could have a light breakfast like eggs. No toast, bagels, etc.
@kirstensetzer, yeah I heard it was easy to fail and I don't want to fail and have to do the rest all over again I'll probably take something with me to eat afterwards
I didn't eat the morning I went and I only drank water. the test is really sensitive and easy to fail so to be safe i wouldn't eat anything.

With my son they told me nothing after 12pm but I could have water. And this time they told me I can have eggs and toast before just no sugar

With my daughter they told me to fast , but with this baby they told me I didn't have to fast. So idk lol I guess it depends on the test you're given. Call your dr and double check
They told me not to eat anything two hours before but to make sure I ate something before that time frame or my sugar levels would be wrong already. Nothing but water two hours before also.

I was told you don't have to fast for the one hour. I had mine in the morning as well and I just waited to eat until after.
If your doc didn't say to fast, then you probably don't need to. I say call to double check because everyone is going to say something different

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
