They could break your water. It can sometimes speed things up. That's what happened to me. I wouldn't dilate past a 2 for weeks so they broke my water and I dilated quickly

@brooklyn0516 lol I'm 40 weeks on Thursday but have been dilated the same for the last 3 weeks and no change at all. I bounce, I walk, I've been doing squats, I ended up going to the gym with my fiancée this morning and doing speed sprints for 45 minutes, I've tried pineapple everything!!!! This baby is stubborn like his daddy lol. At this point I'm uncomfortable, but I also just want to finally meet and hold my little man.

I was stuck at 2 forever then I was induced and I dilated very quick! So no worries, could mean nothing.

@samiam6, I'm just exhausted lol @muvah.earthh I can't imagine another ten days of this til I'm 40 weeks. @valeriexxrenee my doctor said we will schedule an induction if she isn't here by the 19th. That's just so far awayyyyy ha 😩

@brooklyn0516 aww and they haven't even mentioned inducing you yet? Pretty much same here I have to wait until at least we'd. I've tried everything.im seriously miserable here

I'm going through the exact same thing since 37 weeks !! I dilated up to 2 cm but no regular contractions, and if they get regular, it's temporary. . done everything possible including a membrane sweep and nada .. I'm 40 weeks now and physically drained 😔

@sarahmariemommy2be, I walk three to four miles on a trail every day 😔 I bounce on my ball constantly. I'm just stuck with no progress lol I don't mind her staying in there if the back labor would just stop.

Try walking a bunch!
