So I have a question for all the stay at home mommies out there. I'm truly considering staying home…

I want job so bad

It is very hard...I am a stylist and I wanted to be completely done and stay home but we decided to just cut my hours to Thursday Friday every other Saturday and omg I'm so happy I did! If you can try and just cut your hours first before staying home completely

I would do that unless you are good at being busy without spending money and liking it (way easier said then done)

This is my 1st child and I am also considering being a stay at home Mom. I have a great career and am scared to lose momentum there. I worked very hard to get where I am. Financially though, it isn't a problem for me to stay home. I don't know how I will feel when the time comes, so I have decided to keep my job and go on my maternity leave for 14 weeks. I will evaluate during that time and make a final decision. However, of my friends that are stay at home Moms - Doctors/Attorneys/Sales Managers - not one of them regrets staying home even when they wish they had a part time job some days.

I'll be honest there are some days I can't stand being at home. Get yourself and your kids out of the house doing activities as much as you can or you will literally go insane. I get up and go the gym everyday because that's my mommy time. I take the kids and they love playing with the other kids in the nursery. We take walks and play at the park. We go to the pool and the splash pad during the warm season. Be sure to take time for yourself or you can easily lose yourself in your kids. I struggled with it a lot at first because I was used to multiple jobs and always being on the go and it was a huge adjustment at first

You won't have much time to go out with the baby or just takes extra longer it probably takes me about 3 hours for me to get ready, get my baby ready and get her stuff ready and go.. I have to go back to work next month unfortunately so I'm not a stay at home mom I wish I was but because right now I'm getting paid but after the next 6 weeks I won't and I like to have my money up so I'll only be going back 3 days and school part time. It does get a little frustrating staying home a lot but you could go out you don't always have to stay in.

I completely agree with @karnamarie it is a big adjustment, some days I wish I had a job, but in the end, I would not trade experiencing all these milestones for a job. I can work once they're older and/or out of the house
