So apparently im anemic & I have to go retake the glucose test only this time it'll last 3 hrs. I realllly hated how it made me feel & id rather not especially because now im scared of the out come. Oh and im tired of my drs office always telling me what I should take rather then prescribing me something like wtf this is why I have insurance, so I dont have to pay for this stuff Ughh

OMG!! Thank you! I feel the exact same way! They always recommend this and say take that... Well wtf... If you recommend me take something then freaking prescribe it to me! So irritating! And I had to go back a second time for the three hour glucose screening. Everything turned out fine 🙂 im sure you'll be perfect! And worst case if you have it, it goes away after baby and I've been told as long as you go by the diet and do everything they suggest you're golden!

I really dont understand lol & my ob always has the nerve to mention "its not to expensive" like ummm you know what would make it even my inexpensive? A prescription dammit ! lol but Ugh I know I just hope everything comes back good this time so I dont have to be worried with it. @simplyairbear

@klove23, sorry to hear that hon, and hope everything comes out ok on the next test! FYI some of those meds are MORE expensive as a prescription. Your OB may actually be trying to save you money.

I honesty never have to pay if its on a prescription @mommagotbump16 & if i do it no more then $5-10. But thank you i hope soo too ! ☺

It really depends on the med too. Some insurances will cover more, but there are some meds that are just expensive lol 😲 If you think it'll be covered you can always ask

@klove23, I was super worried when they said I failed the first time too! I was all freaked out and didn't even want to come back. I was a mess the three hours of waiting lol. But in the end, it ended up being fine and I was freaking out for nothing haha. But it was the longest three hours of my life and the longest few days waiting for the results! Lol. So I understand exactly how you're feeling! And I agree!! My OB does the same thing! It drives me absolutely insane. And it's the most simple stuff too, but they just tell me the names and which stores sell it 😳 like what if I got the wrong stuff?! Their the doctors! Lol.

Haha right I worry about that too I'll be like i hope this is it lol but ill just try to be positive and hope for the best no need to stress myself out over it.. @simplyairbear

@mommagotbump16, yeah thats what Im gonna do because im sure it'll be covered . What i usually do is use my "better" insurance first then the crappy one to cover the rest lol
