How accurate is the gender blood test? Anybody know how it works?

they just take your blood and if there's testosterone in it its a boy but if there's not then it's a girl (at least im pretty sure thats what i read) and it's 99% accurate

they did mine it came back im having a boy and at my 20 week appointment the doctor did a sono and hes still a boy, it even tells you if your baby is going to have any disorders.

that makes sense. My midwife asked me if I wanted the disorder blood test done, and I told her I didn't wanna know. She hasn't said anything about the gender blood test. So they're the same test? @arivera64 @ashleyandadan @belles_mom428

Yes they usually tests for disorders and when they do that test they do the gender test I told my doctor I didn't want to know and they still took my blood but never told me gender or about any disorders

There is no bkood test specifically for gender per say. All of those tests are for genetic disorders but will tell you the gender
