Due to book twelve week scan. The first day of last period was 14th March, midwife says I am eight weeks pregnant but…

I got told that the day I took the test I would have been 4 weeks the lady that done my scan told me this and then when I had scan that worked at write as said I was 8 weeks and took the test 4 weeks prior to that, said it's important to remember the day I took pregnancy test.

Just worried if I have the scan early I won't get a clear pic of little bub :/ thanks all. Can't wait for first scan! Too excited!! Xx

They always add 2 weeks from beginning of period to ovulation. It's a rough estimate until you have your first scan. My dates were off by 10 days, my due date changed at my scan. I wouldn't worry, the sooner you get your first scan the better it is xx

My midwife did this, it's just an estimate from your last period... I went at 10 weeks and she said I was around 12 weeks pregnant if I went off the date of my last period.... But my own dates were right I was 10 weeks pregnant☺️ it's just a rough estimate! people usually tend to ovulate 12-14 days after their period so I counted from then! you could have ovulated earlier or later than usual but the scan will be more accurate!😁 xx

You'll be 8 weeks as they date it from the first day of your last period. You'll get a clearer due date from your scan 😊 xx
