I've got 3 dogs, 3 cats and a rabbit of my own and was working at animal control for 5 years before I got pregnant and even I have to agree with this. You can love your animal and call it a "fur baby" but it's not a person. I don't feel pets are a reason to be told happy Mother's Day. I understand meaning well but that's taking it too far. It's awkward for me when people say it to me when I'm having my baby in two days for goodness sake.

hahahah yes yes yes. I love animals so much but I'm just like nah son nahhhhh. and yes ikr? it was hard for me to hear "happy mothers day" cause I don't feel like a mommy yet! I haven't done half the amazing things that mothers do.
