My husband's mother - who I have not spoken to in a year, who has made it a point to make sure I know how much she dislikes me - wished me a happy Mother's day before my husband.
He did ask where I wanted to go for brunch though. Which means he's done nothing for me. I'm so disappointed. I don't need gifts or fancy plans... Plenty of my friends who have no money got home made cards and breakfast in bed or their husbands got baths going for them or cleaned the house.
And I got a "My mom said happy Mother's day."
I'm crushed. I'm trying very hard not to cry because I JUST put make up on but it's a losing battle.

My husband is the same way. He has never been one for planning but it still hurts! I would talk to him about it, he will never know how upset you are unless you talk to him. I hope you feel better!
