Hi mommies:) I'll be 35 weeks tommorow and was admitted Friday night for preterm labor. They were able to stop the contractions as well as gave me 2 steroid shots to help my daughters lung development. I am going home today. I was curious as to if anyone else has gone through this, and if you had your babies at full term and what all your doctor's did as precautions. TIA:)
Yes for 3 months because of contractions I lived 2 hours from the hospital so that's why they just kept me there for so long. He was scheduled for csection at 37 weeks I was supposed to have him on a Monday the contractions got real bad on that Friday before they took him Saturday morning at 3:30 am. Your baby will be fine! I had a friend I met there at the hospital that delivered her baby girl at 27 weeks she was 14 ounces when she was born she stayed in the NICU for 6 months went home weighing 5lbs. It's amazing how they fight. Praying for you! Happy Mother's Day!
were you in the hospital before you delivered him for preterm labor? I'm happy to hear that he is healthy now:)@mandeerodriguez
I was hospitalized for the last 3 months of my pregnancy with my last baby delivered him at 36+4 when the shots no longer worked. He was in the NICU for 3 weeks because he didn't want to eat and had a few breathing issues because during the csection when they took him out he took a big gulp and swallowed fluids. But he's perfectly healthy now almost 3!
Thank you so much! all of that is awesome to hear, i just got word that they're keeping me another night because my white blood cell count is elevated..Happy Mother's Day to you too @mandeerodriguez
