Do you really need to celebrate being a mother today just because everyone else does it? No, you can honestly do it any time of the year, so don't set yourself up for disappointment if you can't afford something today, nobody gets you a card, flowers or some other gift and just be happy that you're alive, and health spending today with your children or someone(family, friends, SO).
