Wait did l miss something??? Why are people trying to get labor started at 34 and 35 weeks?
@lillysmom1997, that's very true it's still sad though you'd think the start of their child's life health would come before anything but I guess not I just feel for the little babies
@mommyagain, the moms know the risk and if they choose to take it then that's their problem not ours.
@temp, I know that's right love it's not worth it and you did the right thing by consulting your midwife
i actually read an article about a woman who induced her labor with castor oil, i think she was like 38 weeks. well her baby ended up pooping in the womb and she got it in her lungs that then caused an infection and she ended up passing away:'( i have a friend who is like 36 weeks and she's trying to make her baby come soon. which i am totally unsure why. she is taking evening primrose oil, but she never talked to her doctor about it because it was natural. at my last appointment i talked to my midwife about if it would be a good idea and made sure it was okay and how much to take. to each their own but I'd never put my baby's life at risk trying to induce my own labor especially so early or without consulting my midwife about it first.
Yup. You are right. But you can't tell people nothing these days
@kylamommy2016, you're right about that hell maybe her being with God saved her from having to endure worse in her life because the aunt or cousin said the mom vanished after that and didn't want anything to do with her because she was sick so that wasn't a good sign in itself
Exactly. Smh that's why I'm being patient with mine. It's a reason for everything.
@kylamommy2016, she ended up passing not to long ago now I wonder how she feels but like ole girl said in so many words its their child they can do what they want including killing them do to their own selfishness and impatience
Yea she passed last week I think. I was following her story for a while...it broke my heart as well.
@kylamommy2016, Girl yes that broke my heart and I heard she passed so sad for real just so she could be born on a CERTAIN day smh
@emkasting, I know! That's what I was trying to figure out she's talking about she can't take much more of being pregnant and pain and blah blah blah that still isn't a good enough reason to risk your child's life how would she feel if baby died do to her impatience but like ole girl up top stated in so many words maybe I just need to mind my business 😕
I don't know if y'all have heard about the story of the baby girl who mom used castor oil and was fighting for her life. @emkasting @mommyagain
Castor oil is SO dangerous. I really hope she doesn't try that. Especially so early... It can do so much damage and even be fatal for the baby. Why would you try to induce labor at 33 weeks...wtf is her motive? @mommyagain
@emkasting, I'm right there with you I'll let my baby girl bake as long as she needs to
Plus those crazy methods will really only work if baby is ready anyways!
@emkasting, Right! Girl 33 weeks talking about she's about to start on all the pineapples she's bought and got some castor oil if that don't work 😧😧😧
Exactly! Which is why I'm getting induced at 41 weeks on Monday! I let this little lady cook long enough. I'm grateful she's healthy, granted I wanted her out before, but I don't try any Crazy methods to make her come out sooner. @emkasting
I wonder the same thing. If your doctor believes you are ready to induce then THEY need to be the ones inducing. Some of the methods I see people trying are so dangerous, castor oil being one of them! I'll carry this baby to 42 weeks if that's what will make him ready!
Lol very. But like it was mentioned before....it's their child..they can do as they please. Lol @graciesmama
I don't think you can mama! But you look really good to be carrying twins!
@twinmama_navywife you are the real MVP. I thought I was being almost 41 weeks but no mama you got it! You're twins are gonna be super healthy!
they'll reconsider and regret it when there baby's in Nicu & can't breath on its own smh some just shouldnt reproduce if they can't handle keeping their baby in until full term, that's my opinion . (doesn't go for those who can't carry full term medically )
@twinmama_navywife, Wheeeew! Now that's real life ish! You're the real MVP momma them babies gonna have you measuring at 50 weeks after awhile that's ok they'll get cramped and figure out its better to be in mommy's arms instead of smushed up lol
I know that's right. Lol you think the way I think.
@kylamommy2016, hey giiiirl if they knew better they'd do better they better go get some ointment if they're butt hurt I asked a question if they didn't like it they could have kept it moving I'm not the one to come for
Exactly! But it's their child..they can do as they please. 😂 it's just not safe to force a child out before they are considered full term. @mdomke22 but hey...
@mommyagain, I was measuring at 42 weeks as of like two weeks ago.. Can only imagine what I would be measuring now..
@lillysmom1997, Yeah I guess NICU babies and preemies are a tad cuter.....
@kylamommy2016 someone always does 😂😂 but hey they're the mommies right?! @mommyagain the funny part is no matter how much you try to induce your body into labor it will NOT until your body is ready. so I guess just let them do them and they will realize all that effort is for NOTHING! 😂😂
@twinmama_navywife, I know you're passed miserable but I don't think you was trying to force them out at 29 and 30 weeks
@mdomke22, heck yeah! Stay in there and bake til you're done I'd think everyone thought like that but I guess not! I'm seeing all these post about them doing stuff to go into labor and see 34 33's and 32's under their names make me sad for the little babies
Exactly. Lol she's taking her time. Im cool with and I knew this post was gone cause someone to get in their feelings. Lol
Because it's their child and they can do whatever they please?
@kylamommy2016, exactly! I want my baby to come on out when she's ready no rush
To each its own I guess that's too early if you ask me
yes girl idk.....I mean wouldn't you want your baby to be as healthy as possible??? 😕😕
@twinmama_navywife, but whyyyyyyyy at 34 weeks or earlier because you're miserable or just want to see your baby???
Smh. I don't understand. I just shake my head and keep scrolling. Im over here almost 41 weeks and im not trying to induce labor
Depends on who you are.. Like me.. I'm having twins and I'm allowed to start now because my full term is 37 weeks.. Everyone's pregnancy is different.
@kylamommy2016, Girl what in the hell is going on round here? Maybe they don't need anymore child if they're impatient seen a girl talking about she bought all pineapples and some castor oil just in case the pineapples fail and only 33 weeks 😐 I feel for the po child can't even bake in peace
@mommyagain, same, but again, their choice.
