The closer I get to my due date I freak out about my son being circumcised and I know it's good for him but when i think about it being done I get scared for him plus the pain he will be put through 😫😩!!!! How did you mommies deal with your son being circumcised?
#Thisismyfirstboy
i've seen circumcisions done & the babies are awake but they numb the penis beforehand, i've honestly seen babies endure the whole thing without crying at all and just the opposite so its hard to say how painful it is or isnt. at the end of day, its a personal decisions and youre the one that has to be comfortable with it.
men who aren't circumcised need to know how to clean themselves.. because it does tend to collect bacteria if not properly cleaned!.. my bf showers once a day but before sex and after he always cleans himself down below..and omg that's funny cause my bf says the same thing .. and I'm all like " wellll, I wouldn't know babe" 😂😂 @michellevaldez4750
@muvah.earthh, my husband swears sex feels better not cut too. Although I'm not sure how he would know since he hasn't ever been able to compare lol!
exactly it's a personal opinion that ppl should respect :) I never minded my husband not being circumcised at all, I just know he's had issues like the first year we were together I got like 3 bacterial infections and he feels like he has to shower like 2-3 times a day just to stay clean although those aren't exactly serious concerns or anything.
ugh .. at least me, when and if I have a babyboy, I'm leaving his penis alone..my boyfriend isn't circumcised either and he doesn't want his son to be .. so I'm happy about that but everyone is different ! :) which is alright too @michellevaldez4750
@muvah.earthh, oh yeah and they don't even give them anything for pain. It does hurt but only for a minute and for me it's well worth it to not have all the issues with not being circumcised all their lives.
I had the hardest time deciding with tre because my husband is not circumcised but in the end I did do it because it is easier to keep clean throughout life. my oldest son I did without even giving it much thought, it's just something that my family has always done. I didn't like to think of the pain but neither one seemed to mind it at all after the initial few seconds of pain.
i had my baby circumcised he was my first and i heard how it was good and honestly i feel like the worst part was hearing him scream and cry that was horrible i cried so much and i said if i had a boy again i wouldnt do it
yes @muvah.earthh they either put a bit of numbing cream or they feed the baby sugar water. That's it
@tuesday011 you need to give your husband some information and really have a serious talk if you dont want it done. Show him the horror stories if you have to. I don't mean to be harsh at all but if that's what you honestly want, you have to put your foot down. Some babies bleed to death because of the procedure! And that's not me trying to push my belief, that's fact!
My husband is pushing for it to be done and i truly don't want it to be done😫😩
omg they do it awake ?!? 😢😠 I never knew that !!! I'm glad your boys are intact, that sounds horrible. @arivera64
It's totally up to you! I have worked in Peds unit and I have seen so many uncircumcised babies get infection. I have a son and have never had an issue my friend on the other hand who's baby is the same age as my son isn't circumsized and has had an infection twice. The cleaning wasn't hard he healed in two days and is fine. Everyone is different
ouch.....just the sound of that @muvah.earthh 😅
The first time i realized i didnt want to circ was with my second son. He couldn't have it done at birth and we had to wait 6 months. At that point they told me he had to be put to sleep for the procedure. Then i thought....wait....they do this to newborns awake, but now he needs to be put to sleep. Is it that painful. I said nope leave my baby alone. Had my third boy and left him intact as well.
exactly...most do it for religious reasons or just because that's what you mainly see lol I wouldn't do it because nature made it that way for a reason .. that's like cutting off your clitoral hood when it's there to protect it lol. @arivera64
That's right @muvah.earthh 😉
I always tell moms to seek unbiased info from reliable sources and make their decision from there. I'm anti circ but i try not to force that in others because i know some do it for religious reasons etc.
agreed with @arivera64 . it's better for him to be left uncircumcised. .that extra skin helps protect the penis. there's a reason why men are born with it !
I don't have a boy but I was informed by a nurse that it is not necessary to do that now, it is just the norm. I would do some extra research on it if it is concern for you.
It's not necessarily any more good for him than it is to leave him intact. If you are worried, you should seek some good resources and get more up to date and unbiased information about circing
My 5 year old brother just got circumcised due to all the infections he kept on getting & seeing him in so much pain not being able to walk makes me glad I got my son circumcised as a newborn & planning on doing the same with my second baby.
What are y'all thoughts of boys circumcision? I know my son getting it, gotta keep infections away, but how do other mothers feel about it,?
I’m sorry but I’m still not circumcising my son 🤷🏽♀️ and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it either cause it’s not right to me. That’s their decision to make.
I need mommy opinion about getting my son circumcised I don’t know if I should or should !!
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
@angylynn22, yes, my kids didn't seem to mind it at all and I know for sure they didn't even numb my 2nd son. He cried for a min but it didn't sound like a painful type cry. it really does come down to personal opinion and what the parents want.
