at my first one I swear I was like a kid glued to the TV . I couldnt look away from the sonogram haha

@kp_111516, Congrats!! I was like that too at my first scan haha 😂 I was staring so much! And oh my gosh the 12 weeks scan was sooo amazing baby already grew so much and moves a lot!!! 😍

@miicat, I haven't really felt any movement yet , but sometimes I feel what almost feels like gas bubbles ? and I wonder if that's actually the baby but idk. Im confused though at my first appointment I think I was 8 weeks , and they didn't take my urine to check my protein levels? I was told they should do that every time. they literally did a sonogram , swabbed me and asked of any family medical issues and sent me on my way... but I think they did say I'll be getting blood work done at this appointment.

@kp_111516 Yeah the movements can't really be felt yet at this point, I'm 14 weeks but I think most women feel proper movements around 17-24 weeks ~ But the baby does move a lot during the scan, reacting to the pressure put on your belly 😍 Hmm that's odd, maybe ask them if they're going to send you to test your urine too? I test it myself together with weight and blood pressure before whenever I go to the maternity clinic appointments.

@miicat, this girl who went to the same doc I have said they didn't do much at her first appt but at her second they actually talked to her and asked more questions gave her a "mommy bag" with info in it and stuff. so I'm hoping the second will go more as I expected. being a first time mom I was very concerned and mad about how the first one went! but I'm so excited to see how big the baby's gotten! I have a app "ovia" and its great , gives you tips , tells u ur baby's typical weight , how many weeks you are and your baby's development

@kp_111516, Yeah I think that's weird, I live in a different country though so it might be different there where you live, or maybe you happened to get a lousy doctor which would be annoying 😕 I think it's good that you ask them so that you don't have any unanswered questions you deserve to feel well informed!! I have the Ovia app too!! I used their fertility tracking app so now I'm using the pregnancy one asked it's fun to get lil updates every day 😁 I just got to 14 weeks so I'm 3 months pregnant with my first too 😊
