Does having sex really speed up dilation in anyone's experience?

I had tons of sex and had my baby at 37 weeks

I walked around the mall for a few hours the other day, got checked and I was 3cm 😁 so definitely give it a try. Just make sure to stay hydrated.

My OB said that sex just softens the cervix. Walking is what really gets dilation going. 😊
