@queenace, back labor is not false labor I had it for two days straight I never got front labor just all back it's a pain you can not describe at all.

So back labor is real labor. It's generally due to the position of the baby; baby is in an 'occiput posterior' meaning the baby is facing towards your abs. It causes pressure from the baby’s head on your tailbone causing the discomfort.

They call babies born like this 'sunny side up.' Ideally they want the baby facing the other way with their face towards your butt. But it's ultimately not a big deal

all my Braxton hicks have been in my back and then slowly make there way to the front. they suck. I'm so nervous I'm going to have back labor.
