it's going to be 85 degrees here tomorrow so I ask my mom can we PLEASE run the A/C tomorrow. I'm literally 9 months pregnant and so beyond hot and uncomfortable. She says "it won't be hot enough to run the A/C" and "if you wanna pay for it" (which I've already offered.) yet when it gets below 72 degrees outside she turns the HEAT on. Just because she's a little chilly. But me being uncomfortable doesn't matter. After doing research I find out that it costs WAY more to run the heat (gas) than it does to run the a/c (electricity). I'm seriously so pissed. How to I get them to use the goddamn A/C. I feel constantly overheated. Sometimes I even get a fever, like the last two days. That is NOT okay while pregnant. I don't know what to do anymore my mom and dad are so fucking stupid. I only have to be here until my house is done in June but until then what the hell can I do?! I feel like I'm dying of heat stroke constantly

@butturfli I use one religiously! A box fan AND a ceiling fan. But I can't move the fans place to place when I move around the house so I would have to stay in one room all day

@warfordmomma I'm seriously thinking of bringing our window a/c unit from our first house together and using it in my room. THAT would piss them off and I'd be cool lmao

@trayt15 I already use one. Fans are not close to as good as a/c :/

@emkasting, do it and pay the difference lol I mean seriously hot and nine months pregnant don't mix well at all!!

Seriously! It just bothers me how unbelievably self centered my mom is. Like if you get chilly out a fucking sweater on. I can't peel a layer of skin off. I'm thinking of just staying at the hospital for the next month when I have the baby. They have a/c 😑 @warfordmomma

@emkasting, that's what I use to keep from running the air. My room is small so that kinda helps.

I would die! I was 9 months in February and was so hot I slept with the window open. I can't imagine 90 degrees 😳

@ella1007 it's seriously the worst and no one seems to care how terribly uncomfortable it is for me

I'm so sorry! I would turn into a crazy pregnant lady and see if that works. Maybe a cold shower or ice packs to help?
