cervadil didn't do anything for me. they put it in at 9pm and then at 8am the next day they decided pitocin drip to start, they ran that for 12 hrs and no dilation progress. they stopped it til 8am the next morning (i contracted all night that night) they came in and asked me if I wanted to continue or if I wanted to go home and come back 3 days later and try again, if I wanted to go ahead and do a csection, or if I wanted them to break my water and see how that helped. I went with the water breaking and I dilated from a 1 to a 4 while on a pitocin drip they started again after water breaking and when I reached a 4 my blood pressure increased and baby heart rate did too. they decided to go ahead and offer an epidural which I didn't want but it was for the best. they had the paperwork ready and I signed it and then they did the epidural. afterward my body relaxed and I fell asleep I was in and out of it from 3pm to almost 9 PM when they told me it was time to push. he was finally born at 10:51pm that night

@chelsc88, @taiboos_mommy16 @kylamommy2016 The pitocin isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Of course everyones pain scale is different but it wasn't bad for me. They give you the option to get pain medicine if you want to ease the pain but are not sure weather you want to get an epidural or not and I strongly recommend getting it. It definitely gets you feeling extremely high for the first about 10 minutes then has you fall asleep. I was in labor for 26 hours and 49 minutes and was up for about 5 hours and 49 minutes. The pain medicine had a lot to help with it. If you girls have any questions you can message me, this is very fresh to me so I remember everything

I was just induced Tuesday night and this is my first baby. Just remember (even though its extremely hard) to stay as calm as possible and don't be afraid to ask for medicine to ease the pain. I almost had to get a CSection cause my body wasn't progressing and I was stuck at 4cm and ended up getting the epidural at 730pm Wednesday night and had her vaginally at 10:49pm. You got this mama I know I didn't believe it when people told me but believe me, you got this! Congrats on the baby! You'll do great!
