I just added what I really loved and what had the best reviews and made the most sense quality wise. I knew our close family would help with big stuff and friends would get little things. Don't worry about the price, if anything it gives people an idea of what you like best and you want quality items for the baby! I was embarrassed to register pricey things at first but I'm so glad I did.

Good to know.. My husband and I are being very minimal. The items on my registry are item that I've done research on and literally can't live without. Most of them are big ticket (which for us is nothing over $150)

Mine was right around $1000 also but some of it wasn't needed but more just "I'd like to have it" items.

I did mine at target. Just the furniture was over $1000 that was bought by my in laws and then friends bought stuff. My mom and I went after the shower and completed the registry and spent another $850. At target they give you a 15% off your total at the end.

When I did mine it all added up to be over 1000. I think of it as this I want to give people that come to my baby shower options and plus most places will give you a discount of the items that are not bought off it if you decide you want to go back and buy 😁
