Anyone else a teen mother?? Did a social worker come in and ask you a bunch of questions concerning your baby's father? Like how old they were and things?? Like while your were at the hospital?
It seemed like it. I just found it awkward that she was asking about my baby's fathers age. And a couple hours earlier my nurse was asking. 🤔 he is 2 years older than me .. I just don't want him to get in trouble yk? I'm 16 almost 17 and he's 18@daij
Did she seem legit? They ask those questions because we're young but I personally hate it when people ask even if it's the criteria of their job...
I didn't give her any information as far as my ssn or address , she just came in asking if the baby had a crib and car seat things like that. Then she asked about my baby's father and if he was gonna help I said yeah. Then she asked how old he was I told her. Then she left . @daij @savannahrae @lilkountryma @lexy03212015
Yea don't give your info to someone you don't know, YOU ask the question like "who are you" "what's the business you work for" and things like that. My doctors only asked me those type of questions really.
I had a social worker come talk to me but my nurse told me this person was coming. They were mainly there to talk to me about PPD and to make sure I was okay and that the father was on board with everything going on .
You shouldn't give information to anyone unless they have proof of who they are. Ever. If you have custody there shouldn't be any issues with a social worker unless you asked for one
When I first found out the doctors asked did I give consent to the sex, I was 17 but I'm 18 now. I just think it's in their policy and procedures but like we all said if you feel weird about a person and their "job" always ask questions and you have the right to answer or not.
