I usually only pump at night time before bed because my son exclusively breast feeds all day. Well he is going to be turning 6 months soon and yesterday and today he has been really fussy. And not wanting to eat from me. He will take a bottle filled with either formula or breast milk. But not from my breast and he as been taking a lot of naps which he used to never do... Any opinions??

He may be teething. Sometimes the amount of suction needed to successfully draw milk from the breast causes discomfort during this time.

Thank you! @arivera64 & @hlanc4 I hope for how much he is sleeping he is just in a growth spurt or something. I have used teething gels, teethers. To help calm him as well.

teething!! lay in bed without a shirt all day and nurse as much as possible. if you are able to try an otter pop that got us through teething with both boys. Isaac really relied on sleeping with boob in mouth while teething. when he bit I would cry out on purpose pull him off the boob and set him slightly away from me to teach him no bite.

@islanddreamer07, I have tried to nurse but he absolutely refuses he will latch and then push off and scream... I have been pumping and feeding him with a bottle the last few days... 😓 poor lil guy. I will have to try that otter pop...
