My mom was there for a little while while my contractions were getting stronger. My mom has always been my rock but after a while I just wanted to be alone with my pain. She wasn't even doing anything. Just her presence there was enough to make me uncomfortable. Tell others you need your space. It's not an easy thing to go thru and sometimes decisions have to be made and you may not want so many opinions about what to do next.

My bf wanted his mom in the room also bc with me and him I said I want my mom in there- I had to explain to him how it goes down in there bc he just didn't get it. (It's both of our first baby) but I don't feel comfortable with his mom seeing my vagina. My mom is only there for support!

I know right ? Telling you what to do or not to do . I can't imagine I don't know why I told them they were gonna be in there . And I don't want everybody looking at my 😺 giving birth. Oh no....

At first I wanted my mom cuz she's a doctor and my MIL cuz I love her but lately I hadn't felt like I want people looking but my hubby. I don't wanna tell them I'll wait until the last moment to blame hormones and pain 😆

@kenitra, exactly and I've been tryin to convince my mom to come my entire pregnancy and she didn't want to now she just needs to be there. plus his mom wants to come which is def not happening
